Steven usually goes out on the lower roof for his breaks at the radio tower. Mostly because he can. It's been half a year since he and the others escaped from El Pecador's basement, but he's got five years of being trapped underground to recover from. The chance for a breath of fresh air, the sensation of the endless sky above him... these are, in a very real way, precious to him.

Especially now that the weather's better. Oh, but he'd frozen his ass off up here back in February.

It's almost time for him to get back to the newsroom, though, so it's with great reluctance that Steven turns back to head inside. He'd much rather come back from break early this week if anything. It made a good impression.

Which is why his stomach turns to ice when he sees Sollus coming up the stairs to the roof from the other direction. Not this shit again.
