Unlike the matter of those two. With Hythlodaeus, it is far more wise to wait and see. Of course, you also do not want to wait too long, if aught needs to be halted ere he can enjoy the climax of his toils at our expense. Yet, if one acts too quickly, he will merely change direction and become wiser for it.

It is a strange game of chasing his heels while staying mentally a pace or two ahead, but should you step too far, it will be you that falls. It's always been a bit of an exhilarating, if not vexing, game.
